What you'll do

As an Android Engineer II at Instacart, you will be responsible for developing and enhancing features for the Shopper Android app, ensuring that it meets the needs of our users. You will lead the architecture and design of new functionalities, collaborating with product managers and designers to create a seamless user experience. Your role will involve writing clean, maintainable code and conducting code reviews to uphold quality standards. You will also be tasked with troubleshooting and resolving issues that arise in the application, ensuring high performance and responsiveness. You will participate in sprint planning and retrospectives, contributing to the continuous improvement of the development process. Additionally, you will mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and helping them grow in their careers. Your contributions will directly impact the efficiency and satisfaction of our Shoppers, making their work easier and more effective.
