Software Engineer, Cloud Infrastructure

You are an entry-level Software Engineer with a foundational understanding of cloud infrastructure and security principles. You have experience or coursework in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP, and you are eager to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment. You possess a collaborative mindset and are excited about working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative solutions. You are detail-oriented and committed to maintaining high standards of security in all your work. You understand the importance of building trust with users and stakeholders and are motivated to contribute to a team that prioritizes security in its infrastructure.

Desirable

Experience conducting threat modeling of software or infrastructure in cloud-native environments would be a plus. Familiarity with security monitoring tools such as CSPM or CNAAP is also desirable. You may have worked on projects in a multi-cloud or complex cloud environment, showcasing your adaptability and problem-solving skills.

What you'll do

In this role, you will design and build solutions that advance Stripe's infrastructure security beyond state-of-the-art. You will collaborate with the Secure Cloud Expansion team to extend Stripe's secure platform, enabling engineers to leverage new technologies effectively. Your responsibilities will include developing tooling and controls that facilitate self-service while ensuring a high security standard across all Stripe surfaces. You will engage with users and stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver state-of-the-art solutions that enhance Stripe's security posture. You will also participate in team discussions to drive innovation and ensure the successful delivery of high-quality solutions.
