Amazon is seeking a Senior Account Manager to drive the adoption of AWS services among Fortune 1000 companies. You'll leverage your sales and technical expertise to develop strategic accounts and meet revenue targets. This role requires a strong background in both sales and technology.
You have a strong background in sales and technology, ideally with 5+ years of experience in account management or enterprise sales. Your ability to engage with CXO-level executives as well as software developers and IT architects sets you apart. You are a self-starter, ready to develop and execute a territory coverage plan while consistently delivering on quarterly revenue targets. You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to articulate compelling value propositions around AWS services effectively.
You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are comfortable managing a robust sales pipeline. Your experience in driving revenue and market share in a defined territory or industry vertical is essential. You understand the importance of customer satisfaction and are committed to developing long-term strategic relationships with key accounts. You are prepared for moderate travel as part of your role.
Experience working with Fortune 1000 companies is a plus, as is familiarity with cloud computing and AWS services. You may also have a background in consulting or services, which would enhance your ability to drive customer adoption and satisfaction.
In this role, you will be responsible for driving revenue and market share in your defined territory. You will meet or exceed quarterly revenue targets by developing and executing a comprehensive account/territory plan. Your responsibilities will include creating and articulating compelling value propositions around AWS services to accelerate customer adoption. You will maintain a robust sales pipeline and work with partners to extend your reach and drive adoption.
You will manage contract negotiations and ensure customer satisfaction throughout the engagement process. Building long-term strategic relationships with key accounts will be a critical part of your role, as you will need to understand their needs and how AWS can meet them. You will also collaborate with internal teams to ensure that customer feedback is incorporated into service improvements.
