[CA DC-BC] Hub Supervisor (12 months contract)

Who you are

You have experience in operations management, ideally within a logistics or delivery environment, where you've successfully led teams to meet performance metrics and quality standards. Your leadership style fosters a culture of safety and compliance, ensuring that all policies and procedures are followed diligently. You are skilled in managing day-to-day operations, coordinating vehicle capacity, and providing support to hourly staff. You understand the importance of communication and engagement, conducting team huddles to convey safety messaging and quality tips. You are adept at employee scheduling, time and attendance management, and conducting performance reviews to help your team succeed.

Desirable

Experience in the food delivery or logistics industry is a plus, as is familiarity with health and safety compliance in a warehouse setting. You may have a background in training and coaching employees, helping them to develop their skills and improve their performance. A strong understanding of delivery processes and customer service is also beneficial, as you will be responding to service requests and escalations.

What you'll do

As the Hub Supervisor at HelloFresh, you will report directly to the site Hub Manager and provide on-shift leadership to your team. You will oversee all Hub-related activities, including sortation operations, vehicle loading, and on-road delivery operations. Your primary responsibility will be to manage a team of Warehouse Associates and Delivery Associates, ensuring they meet quality standards and achieve performance metrics. You will be accountable for health and safety compliance, maintaining accurate recordkeeping, and conducting investigations as necessary. You will also be responsible for meeting and exceeding service KPIs, responding to customer service requests, and managing escalations effectively.

In this role, you will conduct team huddles to maintain open communication and engagement with your employees, conveying important safety messaging and quality tips. When required, you will supervise the sortation operation and loading process, performing dispatching functions for drivers while they are on the road. You will play a key role in shaping and scaling an industry-leading chilled last-mile delivery operation, delivering thousands of freshly produced meal boxes directly to customers each day. Your leadership will help create a positive work environment where employees feel supported and motivated to perform at their best.
