You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in enterprise environments, with at least 5 years of experience in account management or sales roles. Your ability to build relationships and engage with key stakeholders is exceptional, allowing you to effectively drive customer engagement and satisfaction. You are skilled in using CRM tools, particularly Salesforce, to manage your pipeline and track customer interactions. You understand the importance of data-driven decision-making and can analyze market trends to identify opportunities for growth.

As an Enterprise Account Executive at Databricks, you will play a pivotal role in driving the company's growth by expanding our footprint with existing customers. Your primary focus will be on converting prospects into customers and driving the initial consumption of Databricks' services. You will engage in prospecting and lead generation, utilizing various strategies and resources to effectively target leads. You will leverage intent signals and customer stories to build relationships with key prospects in your territory, aiming to displace incumbent technologies.
You will conduct first meetings with compelling points of view to create urgency for change and develop territory and account plans to prioritize your pursuits. Your role will involve engaging in activities such as roundtables, bootcamps, and industry events to build relationships and progress your pipeline. You will maintain an accurate and updated Salesforce pipeline, create proof of concepts, and manage the sales cycle from initial contact to closing the deal.
Collaboration will be key in your role, as you will engage with architects and professional services to ensure that customer needs are met and that projects are delivered successfully. You will also be responsible for securing strategic committed deals by identifying, structuring, and closing opportunities that align with high-priority initiatives.
