Google is seeking a Senior Product Manager for their Wear Platform Experience team to drive product development from conception to launch. You'll collaborate with engineering and UX teams, leveraging your expertise in Android and GPS technologies. This role requires 8+ years of experience in product management.
You have a Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience, along with 8 years of experience in product management or a related technical role. You have successfully taken technical products from conception to launch, demonstrating your ability to manage the entire product lifecycle from ideation to execution. Your experience includes performance analysis, particularly with Android or GPS technologies, showcasing your technical acumen in these areas.
In addition to your technical background, you possess strong cross-functional collaboration skills, having worked with engineering, UX/UI, sales finance, and other stakeholders for at least 5 years. You are comfortable preparing and delivering technical presentations to executive leadership, ensuring that complex ideas are communicated effectively. Your business-focused experience, such as in Marketing, Business Operations, or Management Consulting, further enhances your ability to drive product goals and strategies.
You thrive in environments that require continuous adaptation and are excited to work on products that impact millions of users. Your ability to break down complex problems into actionable steps is a key asset in guiding product development. You are passionate about collaborating with creative engineers and designers to develop innovative technologies that improve user access to information.
A Master's degree in a technology or business-related field would be a plus, as would additional experience in driving product roadmaps and go-to-market strategies. Your familiarity with OEM partnerships and understanding of hardware roadmaps will help prioritize features effectively.
In this role, you will work cross-functionally to guide products from conception to launch, connecting the technical and business worlds. You will own and define the product roadmap, ensuring alignment with upcoming devices and market needs. Collaborating closely with Engineering and User Experience teams, you will help design and build exceptional experiences for new devices, focusing on performance and user satisfaction.
You will be responsible for driving the product goal and roadmap, coordinating design discussions, and ensuring that all stakeholders are aligned on objectives. Your role will involve conducting performance analysis and leveraging insights to inform product decisions. You will also engage with OEM partners to understand their hardware roadmaps, which will inform your prioritization of features and enhancements.
Your ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders will be crucial in this position. You will prepare and deliver presentations to executive leadership, articulating product strategies and performance metrics. Your leadership will guide the team in navigating challenges and seizing opportunities in the market.
