Meta is seeking a Master Data Management Lead to oversee the lifecycle of data within their Data Center build-out. Who you are

You have a strong background in data management, with experience in overseeing the full lifecycle of data. You enjoy collaborating with cross-functional teams, including data engineers and data scientists, to develop and implement data quality standards. Your ability to translate business needs into data requirements is key to your success in this role. You thrive in ambiguous environments and are skilled at creating impactful solutions from the ground up. Your expertise in building governance frameworks and data dictionaries will be essential as you lead initiatives across the Data Center lifecycle.

Desirable

Experience in a fast-paced tech environment, particularly within data centers or similar infrastructure settings, is a plus. Familiarity with data governance tools and methodologies will enhance your ability to succeed in this role. A proactive approach to identifying opportunities for efficiency and improvement will set you apart.

What you'll do

In this role, you will manage the full lifecycle of data within Meta’s Data Center build-out, shaping how data is created, introduced, and transformed. You will collaborate with business stakeholders to develop data quality standards and establish effective stewardship workflows. Implementing comprehensive governance for asset master data will be a key responsibility, ensuring consistency, reliability, and scalability in master data management. You will also be responsible for implementing the necessary technical capabilities and systems to support these objectives. Your efforts will directly contribute to Meta’s ongoing growth and success.

You will lead the development of a data dictionary and governance playbook, ensuring that these resources are effectively implemented across the Data Center lifecycle. Your role will involve translating business needs into actionable data requirements, identifying opportunities for efficiency, and working closely with various teams to achieve these goals. You will be instrumental in fostering a culture of data stewardship and accountability within the organization.
