Process Intelligence & Digitalization Specialist

Here at The Exploration Company, we are developing, producing, and operating Nyx, a modular and reusable space orbital vehicle that can eventually be refuelled in orbit and that can carry cargo - and potentially humans in the longer run.

In this highly cross-functional role embedded within Digital Products Team, we want you as a Process Intelligence & Digitalisation Engineer to help us continuously re-define and improve our global processes.

Key Responsibilities

In your capacity as Process Intelligence & Digitalisation Engineer, your role will be continuously evolving, but day to day your duties will include:

• Process Definition Support – Collaborate across all engineering and business domains to help define, map, document, and visualize key processes

• Process integration & digitalization - Provide initial process implementation support

• Process Audit & review - Work closely with Process Owners & Quality Assurance to conduct regular process audits; Ensure all processes (new and existing) are documented with up-to-date procedures, flowcharts, and SOPs (Standard Operating Procedures);

• Continuous Process Improvement & Optimization - Identify inefficiencies and lead initiatives to optimise workflows using Lean Six Sigma and other CI methodologies

• Digital Tool Integration - Act as the primary liaison between Process Owners and Digitalisation experts to support tooling expansion and automation.

• Change Management - Develop and execute process change management plans, including training and documentation, to ensure successful adoption of new processes.

What we would love to see from you

In the role of Process Intelligence & Digitalisation Engineer, you will have the following:

• Strong knowledge of Business Process Management principles and hands-on experience with process modelling techniques;

• Proficiency with BPM tools (for example, Visio, Lucidchart, yWorks, etc) to create process maps and workflow diagrams;

• Passion for user support and strong communication skills;

• Lean Six Sigma, (Green/Black Belt, PMP, PRINCE2 or equivalent practical experience) is a plus;

• Experience with Robotic Process Automation (RPA), Process mining, and other digitalisation technologies is a plus;

• Engineering education or experience in highly technical engineering domain is a plus;

• Fluent in English. German, Italian and French is an asset

• Proficiency with general purpose programming language (e.g. python) is a plus;
