You are proficient in Linux systems and have experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform — you know how to automate deployments and manage configurations effectively. Your leadership skills enable you to guide a team while collaborating closely with IT and development teams to plan and deploy infrastructure that meets the needs of a growing platform.

What you'll do

As the Lead DevSecOps Engineer at VRChat, you will be responsible for the overall security and operation of our infrastructure — you will ensure that our systems are reliable, secure, and cost-effective. You will lead a team of DevOps professionals, guiding them in best practices for infrastructure management and security. Your role will involve collaborating with various teams to plan and deploy infrastructure that supports our mission of enabling users to shape the metaverse.

You will implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline deployments and ensure that our infrastructure can scale effectively — you will also be responsible for capacity planning and optimizing costs associated with our cloud resources. Your expertise in security will be crucial as you develop and enforce security policies and practices across the organization.

You will work closely with the IT and development teams to troubleshoot issues and ensure that our infrastructure is running smoothly — your ability to communicate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders will be key to your success in this role.
