Decagon is seeking a Head of Technical Recruiting to lead and innovate their technical hiring strategy. You'll work closely with Engineering, Research, Product, and Design teams to attract top talent. This role requires strong data fluency and experience in scaling recruiting teams.

Who you are

You have a proven track record in technical recruiting, with at least 5 years of experience leading recruitment efforts in fast-paced environments. Your expertise lies in developing and executing hiring strategies that align with organizational goals, particularly in the tech sector. You possess a sharp eye for talent and a clear philosophy on what separates exceptional candidates from the rest. You are highly data-fluent, able to build dashboards, interpret trends, and use insights to influence strategy and prioritization. Your experience includes scaling recruiting teams globally or building functions across multiple office locations or markets. You thrive in collaborative environments and are passionate about shaping the future of the organization through strategic hiring.

Desirable

Experience with AI or tech startups is a plus, as is familiarity with innovative recruiting tools and methodologies. You are comfortable navigating the complexities of a rapidly growing company and can adapt your strategies to meet evolving needs. A background in data-driven decision-making will set you apart, as you will be expected to leverage analytics to enhance the recruitment process.

What you'll do

In your role as Head of Technical Recruiting at Decagon, you will own the hiring strategy across Engineering, Research, Product, and Design. You will lead a team of recruiters, providing mentorship and guidance to elevate their performance and effectiveness. Your responsibilities will include developing innovative sourcing strategies to attract top technical talent, ensuring a diverse candidate pool, and fostering a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process. You will collaborate closely with hiring managers to understand their needs and define what exceptional talent looks like for their teams. Additionally, you will analyze recruitment metrics to assess the effectiveness of your strategies and make data-driven adjustments as necessary. You will play a critical role in shaping the organizational culture by hiring individuals who align with Decagon's values and mission.
