Overview

Amazon is hiring an RME Planner to develop maintenance plans and schedules for Robotics and Material Handling Equipment. Who you are

You have experience in maintenance planning and scheduling, ideally within a fast-paced operational environment. You understand the importance of preventive and predictive maintenance and are skilled at analyzing data to inform your decisions. You are detail-oriented and can effectively communicate with various stakeholders, including maintenance management and service technicians. You thrive in collaborative settings and are committed to driving continuous improvement in maintenance processes. You are proactive in ensuring that spare parts are ordered and maintained in stock for both planned and emergency repairs. You are familiar with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and can utilize them to enhance maintenance activities.

What you'll do

As the RME Planner, you will develop and implement maintenance plans that prioritize reliability and efficiency. You will screen work orders and analyze scope requirements to schedule maintenance activities based on available resources and work criticality. Your role will involve collaborating with maintenance management to coordinate proactive maintenance activities during available downtime windows. You will audit equipment to document work requirements and quality, ensuring that all maintenance activities are executed to the highest standards. You will also estimate labor hours, materials, tools, and equipment needed for all assigned work orders, supporting a proactive, reliability-centered maintenance program. Your contributions will be vital in maintaining the Robotics and Material Handling Equipment that supports Amazon's operations.
