Elastic is seeking an Account Executive to drive revenue and expansion within strategic Enterprise accounts in the telecommunications sector. You'll be responsible for building your own pipeline and closing complex deals. This role requires strong sales execution and technical fluency.
You have a proven track record in sales, particularly within the telecommunications sector, and possess the ability to drive net-new revenue while expanding existing accounts. Your experience includes developing and executing proactive outbound strategies that generate significant opportunities. You are skilled in deep discovery and qualification, adept at uncovering pain points and understanding business impacts, budgets, and decision criteria using frameworks like MEDDPICC. You thrive in a role that requires both sales execution and technical fluency, and you are comfortable navigating complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
You are a high-energy individual who is motivated by results and enjoys the challenge of closing complex deals. Your ability to tell a compelling story about the Elastic Search AI Platform will be key to your success. You understand the importance of collaboration across functions and are eager to work closely with technical teams to ensure that customer needs are met effectively.
Experience in the enterprise software space, particularly with cloud-based solutions, will be advantageous. Familiarity with AI and search technologies is a plus, as is a background in working with Fortune 500 companies. You are comfortable using CRM tools and have a strong understanding of sales metrics and performance tracking.
In this role, you will own your territory and build a robust pipeline of opportunities. You will develop and execute a proactive outbound cadence that generates at least 50% of your booked opportunities. Your responsibilities will include conducting deep discovery sessions to uncover customer pain points and business impacts, ensuring that you chase only the highest-confidence deals. You will leverage your storytelling skills to articulate the value of the Elastic Search AI Platform to potential clients, helping them understand how it can transform their operations.
You will be responsible for closing complex, multi-stakeholder deals in a consumption-based model, which requires a strong understanding of both the technical aspects of the product and the business needs of your clients. Collaboration with cross-functional teams will be essential, as you will need to work closely with technical experts to ensure that customer requirements are met and that solutions are tailored to their needs.
