Overview

DoorDash is hiring a Supply Chain Inventory Specialist to manage vendor accounts and improve delivery performance. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance operational processes. This role requires strong analytical skills and experience in supply chain management.

Who you are

You have experience in supply chain management and a strong understanding of vendor relationships — you've successfully managed vendor accounts and improved delivery performance in previous roles. You are analytical and detail-oriented, capable of conducting root cause analyses to identify factors affecting vendor on-time delivery. You thrive in collaborative environments, acting as a liaison between vendors and internal teams to ensure smooth operations. You are proactive in identifying non-value adding processes and are eager to suggest improvements that drive efficiency. You possess excellent communication skills, allowing you to effectively engage with various stakeholders and facilitate discussions around operational challenges. You are adaptable and comfortable working in a hybrid environment, balancing remote work with time spent in the office.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for setting up new vendor accounts for upcoming launches or relocations, ensuring that all necessary processes are in place for successful onboarding. You will analyze vendor on-time deliveries and develop continuous improvement strategies to enhance performance metrics. Your role will involve collaborating with cross-functional partners to streamline operations and improve overall launch quality. You will lead initiatives aimed at optimizing supply chain processes, identifying areas for improvement, and implementing solutions that align with company growth. You will also be tasked with monitoring service level agreements (SLAs) and ensuring that delivery expectations are met consistently. Your analytical skills will be crucial as you interpret data related to ERP activities and work with both internal and external partners to scale processes effectively. You will play a key role in driving operational excellence within the DashMart Supply Chain organization.
