System and Network Engineer

Who you are

You have a strong background in system and network engineering, with at least 3 years of experience managing IT projects from inception to completion. Your expertise in Linux and Cisco networking allows you to troubleshoot and optimize network performance effectively. You are familiar with cloud services, particularly AWS, and have experience implementing security policies and updates to maintain system integrity. You possess strong collaboration skills, enabling you to work closely with cross-functional teams, including security and engineering, to deliver efficient IT solutions. You are proactive in identifying areas for improvement and implementing best practices in IT operations. You are comfortable with automation tools like Ansible and containerization technologies such as Docker, which you use to streamline processes and enhance productivity.

What you'll do

In this role, you will manage IT projects from start to finish, ensuring that all aspects are executed efficiently and effectively. You will set up, administer, and maintain IT SaaS systems and applications, ensuring they meet the needs of the organization. Your responsibilities will include reviewing and enhancing SSO workflows within SaaS platforms to optimize functionality and user experience. You will also be tasked with keeping the infrastructure up-to-date by implementing necessary security policies, patches, and updates. Collaborating with the security team, you will ensure the reliability and availability of IT services, addressing any issues that arise promptly. You will serve as a reference point for knowledge and best practices, guiding your team in the implementation of technological deployments. Your role will require you to stay current with industry trends and technologies, continuously seeking ways to improve IT operations and support the organization's goals.
