Coupang is seeking a Principal, Employee Relation to manage labor relations and employee communications. This role requires over 10 years of experience in labor management within large organizations, preferably in the IT or e-commerce sectors.
You have over 10 years of experience in labor management, particularly in large organizations with more than 300 employees. Your background includes hands-on experience in managing employee relations and navigating labor disputes, ideally within the IT or e-commerce sectors. You possess excellent skills in utilizing MS Office, especially Excel, to analyze data and support your strategies. Your ability to communicate effectively in business English is a significant asset, allowing you to engage with diverse teams and stakeholders.
You are familiar with the collective bargaining process and have experience in operating labor committees and handling employee grievances. Your proactive approach to employee relations ensures that you can address issues before they escalate, fostering a positive workplace environment. You are also a certified labor consultant, which enhances your credibility and effectiveness in this role.
While not mandatory, having a certification as a labor consultant is highly desirable. Experience in responding to labor disputes and operating personnel committees will set you apart. Additionally, proficiency in business English will be beneficial in your interactions with international teams and stakeholders.
In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing employee relations strategies that align with Coupang's mission and values. You will manage the labor relations framework, ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations while promoting a positive workplace culture. Your role will involve operating labor committees and facilitating communication channels within the organization to address employee concerns effectively.
