Site Reliability Engineer

Who you are

You have a strong background in site reliability engineering, with experience in building and maintaining scalable infrastructure. Your expertise in Terraform allows you to write modules for deploying infrastructure efficiently, ensuring that systems run smoothly and are prepared for future growth. You are familiar with AWS and have a solid understanding of Linux systems, which are critical for managing the infrastructure at Attain. You also have experience with SOC2 compliance processes, which is essential for maintaining security and regulatory standards in a data-driven environment.

You thrive in collaborative environments and enjoy working closely with engineering teams to optimize system performance. Your problem-solving skills enable you to identify and address issues proactively, ensuring that systems operate at peak efficiency. You are adaptable and open to learning new technologies and methodologies as the company evolves.

Experience with monitoring and alerting tools is a plus, as it helps in maintaining system reliability. What you'll do

As a Site Reliability Engineer at Attain, you will play a critical role in building out and maintaining the infrastructure that powers all of our systems. You will collaborate with nearly every engineering team to ensure that our systems are operating at peak efficiency. Your responsibilities will include writing Terraform modules for deploying infrastructure, managing AWS resources, and ensuring compliance with SOC2 processes. You will also be involved in capacity planning and performance tuning to prepare for the scale of our future growth.

You will participate in incident management and response, working to resolve issues quickly and efficiently. Your role will require you to monitor system performance and implement improvements as necessary. You will also contribute to the development of best practices for infrastructure management and reliability, helping to foster a culture of continuous improvement within the engineering teams.
