Who you are

You hold a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience and have at least 1 year of experience in software development using programming languages such as C++ or Python. You are familiar with developing tools upon ARM coresight architecture and have experience with commercial Joint Test Action Group (JTAG) debug solutions or other debugging methodologies on the hardware/software boundary. You have a keen interest in designing developer tools for integration with AI and Large Language Model (LLM) workflows. Your background includes knowledge of Linux kernel, embedded systems, firmware, or chipset bring-up, which will be essential in your role at Google.

Desirable

A Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field is preferred. Experience in working with AI capabilities to analyze system failures and identify root causes will be a plus. You are enthusiastic about collaborating with hardware prototypes and participating in hardware/software co-designs to fully understand and unblock features related to debugging and performance.
