Apple is hiring a Software Quality Engineer to join their Applied Networking team. You'll be responsible for planning and driving test cases to ensure high-quality software releases. This role requires experience with Python and Swift.
You have a BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience, and possess a solid understanding of development lifecycles, testing methodologies, and QA processes. You are an experienced software Quality Engineer with a passion for ensuring high-quality customer experiences. Your critical thinking skills allow you to identify, reproduce, and isolate bugs effectively, and you excel in crafting and maintaining test cases. You are comfortable working in an environment with rapidly changing priorities and are motivated to invent new ways to improve product quality. Excellent communication skills are essential, as you will interact frequently with engineering teams and management.
Experience with additional object-oriented programming languages beyond Python and Swift is a plus. Familiarity with various testing tools and frameworks will enhance your ability to contribute to the team. A proactive approach to problem-solving and a keen eye for detail will set you apart in this role.
As a Software Quality Engineer at Apple, you will play a key role in the regression defense team, qualifying software releases for iOS, macOS, TVOS, watchOS, and visionOS applications.
