Saronic Technologies is seeking a Commissioning Mate for their autonomous surface vessel, Marauder. You'll assist in testing and commissioning while ensuring safe navigation through various maritime environments. A licensed Deck Officer with strong problem-solving skills is preferred.
You are a licensed Deck Officer with experience in maritime operations, particularly in the commissioning and testing of vessels. Your strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities enable you to navigate complex maritime environments safely and efficiently. You have a steadfast commitment to safety and adhere to maritime regulations, ensuring the highest standards in vessel operations. Your ability to work collaboratively with a team and follow directives from the captain is essential for the success of the mission objectives. You understand the importance of conducting thorough testing and trials of autonomous systems, contributing to the advancement of maritime technology.
In this role, you will stand a navigational watch, ensuring the safe navigation of the vessel during operational testing. You will assist in the end-of-line testing and commissioning of the mid-sized autonomous surface vessel, Marauder.
