Overview

Carvana is seeking an Experienced Auto Body Repair Technician to perform bodywork on multiple panels, including heavy plastic welding and roof repairs. This role requires a minimum of 3 years of professional automotive bodywork experience.

Job Description

Who you are

You have a minimum of 3 years of professional automotive bodywork experience, demonstrating your ability to perform various bodywork tasks with precision and care. Your expertise includes heavy plastic welding, minor metal pulling, and roof and rocker panel repair, showcasing your versatility in handling different types of repairs. You are familiar with large area, heavy bodywork, including Bondo repair, and you take pride in delivering high-quality results that meet industry standards.

You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are eager to work with state-of-the-art tools in a high-tech Inspection Center. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety ensure that you perform your duties effectively while adhering to all safety protocols. You are a team player who values collaboration and communication, making you a great fit for the Carvana culture.

Desirable

While not required, any additional certifications such as ASE would be a plus, as would experience with advanced automotive technologies. You are open to continuous learning and development, willing to participate in training programs offered by Carvana to enhance your skills and advance your career.

What you'll do

As an Experienced Auto Body Repair Technician at Carvana, you will be responsible for performing bodywork on multiple panels of vehicles, ensuring that each repair meets the highest quality standards. You will utilize your skills in heavy plastic welding and minor metal pulling to restore vehicles to their original condition. Your role will involve assessing damage, determining the best repair methods, and executing repairs efficiently.

You will work closely with other technicians and team members to ensure that all vehicles are prepared for delivery to customers. This includes collaborating on larger repair projects and sharing your expertise with less experienced team members. You will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized workspace, ensuring that all tools and equipment are in good working order.
