Overview

Relativity is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer for Stage Propulsion to contribute to the development of innovative rocket systems. You'll work on integrated fluid systems for the Terran R vehicle. This role requires expertise in mechanical engineering principles and a passion for aerospace technology.

Desirable

What you'll do

As a Senior Mechanical Engineer on the Stage Fluids team, you will design and deliver the propellant, pressurant, pneumatics, and other fluid systems that are critical to the functionality of the Terran R rocket. You will take full ownership of the design process, from initial concept through production and testing, ensuring that all systems are integrated and optimized for performance. You will collaborate with other engineering disciplines to ensure that the propulsion systems align with the overall vehicle design and mission objectives. Your role will involve conducting analyses to validate system performance and reliability, as well as troubleshooting any issues that arise during testing and flight operations. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior engineers, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their careers.
