You are a seasoned data scientist with a strong focus on AI, possessing a deep understanding of Python and its applications in building intelligent systems. With your experience, you think in terms of models, agents, and reasoning systems, and you thrive in turning ambiguity into actionable insights. You have a proven track record of designing and delivering production-grade AI systems, particularly those that leverage large language models and agentic workflows. Your analytical mindset allows you to reason over complex organizational data, providing valuable insights that drive workplace decisions.

You are comfortable working hands-on in applied AI and data science, with a focus on analytics and decision support. You take ownership of projects from concept through to production, ensuring high-quality outcomes that align with business objectives. Your collaborative spirit enables you to work effectively within cross-functional teams, driving innovation and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Desirable

Experience with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and knowledge graphs is a plus, as is familiarity with various foundation models such as OpenAI, Gemini, and Claude. You are also open to exploring new technologies and methodologies that can enhance the capabilities of AI systems.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and delivering AI-powered advisors, assistants, and analytic agents that can reason over organizational data. You will build and maintain high-quality, production-ready Python services that power AI applications and integrate seamlessly into Energage’s platform. Your work will involve applying, adapting, and fine-tuning foundation models to create reliable and context-aware AI experiences that are explainable and user-friendly.

You will collaborate closely with product managers and other stakeholders to understand user needs and translate them into technical requirements. Your role will also involve conducting experiments and analyzing data to refine AI models and improve their performance. You will be expected to stay updated on the latest advancements in AI and data science, continuously seeking ways to enhance the effectiveness of the solutions you develop.
