Experience with automated dispensing systems like Parata Max2 is a plus. Familiarity with clinical data review processes and virtual patient consultations will enhance your ability to succeed in this role. What you'll do

As a Staff Pharmacist at Amazon Pharmacy, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that customers receive their medications safely and efficiently. You will perform clinical data reviews and verify prescriptions to ensure compliance with all relevant regulations. Your responsibilities will include managing the end-to-end prescription fulfillment process, which involves dispensing medications using both automated systems and manual filling techniques. You will package and prepare prescriptions for shipment or site injection, ensuring that all medications are handled according to strict quality standards. You will also be responsible for maintaining production targets while meeting Critical Pull Times (CPT) to ensure timely delivery of medications to customers.

In addition to your fulfillment duties, you will engage in virtual patient consultations, providing guidance and support to customers regarding their medications. You will work closely with other pharmacy staff to ensure that all operations run smoothly and that customer needs are met promptly. Your role will require you to split your time effectively between prescription verification and fulfillment duties based on operational needs and customer volume.
