Overview

Vanta is seeking a Manager of Account Management to lead a team focused on Growth & Upmarket segments. You'll be responsible for mentoring Account Managers and developing sales strategies to achieve growth targets. This role requires strong leadership and sales management skills.

Who you are

You have a proven track record in account management, ideally with experience in leading teams during periods of rapid growth. Your leadership style is supportive and empowering, enabling your team to excel in their roles. You understand the importance of developing sales strategies that align with business goals, particularly in the context of growth and market expansion. You are skilled in mentoring and coaching, providing your team with the tools they need to succeed. Your experience includes managing performance metrics and ensuring that targets are met consistently. You are adaptable and thrive in a fast-paced environment, ready to tackle challenges head-on.

Desirable

Experience in the security or compliance industry is a plus, but not mandatory. Familiarity with sales playbooks and account management best practices will help you hit the ground running. A background in recruitment and training of sales teams will also be beneficial as you grow the Account Management team at Vanta.

What you'll do

As the Manager of Account Management at Vanta, you will lead a team of Account Managers focused on our Growth & Upmarket segments. Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that your team has the support and resources they need to meet ambitious growth and renewal targets. You will evolve Vanta’s sales playbook by developing and implementing new initiatives that drive results. This includes conducting regular training sessions and mentoring your team on effective strategies for customer retention and account growth. You will also play a key role in recruitment, onboarding, and training of new Account Managers, ensuring they are well-equipped to contribute to the team’s success. Your leadership will be crucial in shaping the Account Management organization as Vanta continues to scale and distinguish itself in the market.
