You have a proven track record in sales, particularly in building partnerships and driving growth in emerging markets. Your experience includes working with small to medium-sized businesses, helping them leverage on-demand delivery to enhance their revenue streams. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are energized by the challenge of opening new markets and establishing meaningful connections with local merchants. You possess excellent communication skills and are adept at influencing stakeholders to achieve business objectives. You are comfortable with extensive travel and can manage a high-velocity sales cycle effectively. As a Growth Merchant Lead, you will be responsible for identifying and developing new restaurant partnerships in Tier 4-5 markets. You will spend the majority of your time traveling within West Texas, meeting with potential partners and promoting DoorDash's services. Your role will involve conducting market research to understand local needs and tailoring your approach to meet those needs effectively. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that the partnerships you establish align with DoorDash's overall business strategy. You will also report to a Regional Sales Manager, providing updates on your progress and insights into market trends.
