ComplyAdvantage is seeking an Account Executive to drive new business and manage existing accounts in the Fintech sector. You'll leverage your B2B SaaS sales experience and knowledge of compliance to exceed targets. This role is based in Toronto with hybrid work options.
You have a proven track record in B2B SaaS sales, ideally with over 4 years of experience. You've successfully managed high-value accounts and closed new business from scratch, demonstrating your ability to drive results in a competitive environment. Your familiarity with the Fintech, RegTech, or Financial Services industries gives you an edge, especially if you have knowledge of AML, Compliance, or Transaction Monitoring. You thrive in a role that requires both strategic thinking and hands-on execution, and you are comfortable engaging with senior decision-makers.
You are a fan of standardized sales processes, such as MEDDICC, and understand the importance of a structured approach to sales. Your communication skills are top-notch, allowing you to articulate value propositions clearly and effectively. You are driven by targets and have a hunger to exceed expectations, consistently looking for ways to improve your performance and that of your team. You enjoy mentoring junior sales members, sharing your insights and strategies to help them succeed.
Experience in the financial crime prevention space is a huge plus, as is familiarity with the latest technologies and trends in compliance. If you have a network within the Fintech or Banking sectors, that will further enhance your ability to succeed in this role. You are adaptable and open to learning, always looking for ways to enhance your skills and knowledge in the industry.
In this hybrid role, you will own the entire sales journey from hunting and closing new business to nurturing and expanding your portfolio of accounts. You will relentlessly prospect and network to build a quality pipeline, working alongside Sales Development Representatives to engage senior decision-makers at Fintechs, Banks, and Payment companies. Your focus will be on managing an existing portfolio of accounts, ensuring retention while identifying opportunities to expand ComplyAdvantage's footprint within those businesses.
You will lead the full sales cycle, qualifying, negotiating, and closing high-value deals with a focus on creating urgency. Your insights will feed back to our Product teams, helping to shape the future of our offerings. You will consistently overachieve on both new business and retention quotas, driving growth for the company while also contributing to a collaborative team environment.
