About the Opportunity

As our Senior SOC Engineer, you will lead the implementation, tuning, and ongoing management of our SIEM platform, strengthen network security controls, and drive advanced threat detection and response through automation and integrated tooling—keeping our infrastructure secure, compliant, and resilient against evolving threats.

What You’ll Be Doing

• SIEM Platform Management: Oversee the deployment, configuration, and continuous improvement of SIEM capabilities to ensure accurate detection, efficient alerting, and actionable insights.
• Network Security Controls: Manage firewalls, IDS/IPS, and VPNs to strengthen network security and mitigate threats.
• Incident Response: Lead end-to-end response to security incidents, including triage, containment, and post-incident review.
• Threat Detection and Response: Design and implement custom detection rules in SIEM to identify and respond to threats in real-time.
• Security Automation: Leverage SOAR platforms to automate repetitive tasks and streamline incident response processes.
• System Integration and Optimisation: Integrate DLP and network security tools with SIEM/SOAR platforms for improved visibility and automation.
• DLP Implementation and Management: Configure policies, monitor events, and handle incidents end-to-end to prevent data leaks.
• Compliance and Reporting: Ensure controls comply with industry standards and generate insightful security reports.

What We Look For

• 8+ years in cybersecurity engineering with SIEM  and network security.
• Strong understanding of network protocols, firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, and cloud network security configurations.
• SIEM & SOAR proficiency, day-to-day experience with Splunk, QRadar or Sumo Logic plus a SOAR platform.
• Relevant certifications as CISSP, CCNP Security, GIAC GND or equivalent, are a huge plus.
• Experience in DLP (Symantec, Forcepoint, Microsoft Purview) is a plus. 
• Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and cloud-native security tools is a strong advantage.
• Familiarity with compliance standards such as GDPR, HIPAA, or PCI-DSS.
