Security GRC Program Manager, Third Party

Who you are

You have a strong background in security governance, risk, and compliance, with a focus on third-party security assessments. Your experience includes developing and implementing security policies and standards that align with organizational goals. You are skilled in using data to influence program strategy and can effectively communicate insights to stakeholders at all levels. You are familiar with project management tools like Jira and have experience in data visualization using Tableau. You understand the importance of security in a financial context and are committed to maintaining high standards of compliance and risk management.

Desirable

Experience working with engineers to automate security controls is a plus. Familiarity with security frameworks and standards such as ISO 27001 or NIST is also beneficial. You have a proactive approach to identifying security risks and implementing effective mitigation strategies.

What you'll do

In this role, you will support the continuous buildout of the Third Party Security Risk Assessment program at Stripe. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and refine security policies, standards, and processes that enhance the security posture of the organization. You will be responsible for reporting on program performance through dashboards and OKRs, ensuring that stakeholders are informed of progress and challenges. You will also engage with project teams to provide security guidance and support, helping to integrate security considerations into the development lifecycle. Your ability to analyze data and present compelling narratives will be crucial in driving program improvements and demonstrating the impact of security initiatives.
