SpaceX is hiring an Avionics Integration & Test Technician to support the development of avionics hardware for the Starship program. You'll perform testing and integration of electronic components using various equipment. This role requires 1+ years of experience in manufacturing wire harnesses or electro-mechanical sub-assemblies.
You have a high school diploma or equivalency certificate and at least 1 year of experience manufacturing wire harnesses or electro-mechanical sub-assemblies. You are familiar with using electronics equipment such as digital multimeters, oscilloscopes, and network analyzers. Your experience in aerospace, aviation, military, or other high-reliability industries gives you a solid foundation for this role. You are detail-oriented and capable of interpreting schematics and drawings to provide feedback to engineering teams. You are committed to self-monitoring your progress and achieving on-time delivery of all work.
As an Avionics Integration & Test Technician at SpaceX, you will read, interpret, and work from released schematics and drawings, as well as from uncontrolled documentation. You will perform validation and testing of various electronic components using equipment such as multi-meters, oscilloscopes, and test racks. Your role will involve integrating a full system suite of electronics, including on-vehicle, ground segment, and ground support applications, while documenting results clearly and precisely. You will assemble and repair high-quality wire harnesses, test racks, junction boxes, and associated components. Additionally, you will support the development of avionics hardware and procedural improvements through design, test, fabrication, and work instruction efforts.
