Overview

SpaceX is seeking a Senior Product Compliance Engineer for their Starlink project to drive regulatory efforts and obtain product certifications. This role requires expertise in compliance and safety standards for wireless technologies.

Who you are

You have a strong background in product compliance engineering, particularly in the wireless and safety sectors. With at least 5 years of experience, you understand the regulatory landscape and have successfully navigated complex compliance challenges in the tech industry. Your expertise allows you to influence internal design decisions and ensure that products meet necessary safety and regulatory standards.

You are detail-oriented and possess excellent analytical skills, enabling you to assess product designs and identify compliance risks effectively. Your communication skills are top-notch, allowing you to collaborate with cross-functional teams and articulate compliance requirements clearly. You thrive in fast-paced environments and are passionate about contributing to innovative projects that push the boundaries of technology.

Desirable

Experience with satellite communication systems or broadband technologies is a plus. Familiarity with international compliance standards and certifications will set you apart. You are proactive in staying updated on industry trends and regulatory changes, ensuring that your knowledge remains relevant and applicable.

What you'll do

As a Senior Product Compliance Engineer at SpaceX, you will play a critical role in the development of the Starlink broadband internet system. You will lead efforts to obtain the necessary product certifications required to sell and ship millions of consumer-facing devices. This involves working closely with engineering teams to influence design decisions that align with compliance requirements.
