Carvana is seeking a Heavy Body Technician to perform extensive bodywork and train other technicians. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of professional automotive bodywork experience.
You have a minimum of 5 years of professional automotive bodywork experience, demonstrating your expertise in heavy bodywork techniques. As an Experienced Heavy Body Technician, you are skilled in training other autobody technicians, ensuring that your team maintains high standards of quality and efficiency. Your background includes extensive experience with heavy plastic welding, metal pulling, straightening, and stud welding, making you a valuable asset to our team. You are familiar with roof and rocker panel repairs and can handle large area bodywork, including Bondo repair, with precision and care. You understand the importance of teamwork and are committed to delivering exceptional customer experiences.
In this role, you will perform extensive bodywork on multiple panels, utilizing your skills in heavy plastic welding and metal repair. You will be responsible for training and mentoring other autobody technicians, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their roles. Your work will involve heavy metal pulling, straightening, and shrinking, ensuring that vehicles are restored to their original condition. You will also handle roof and rocker panel repairs, demonstrating your versatility and attention to detail. As part of the Carvana team, you will use state-of-the-art tools in our high-tech Inspection Centers, contributing to our mission of delivering exceptional vehicles to our customers.
