Overview

DigiCert is seeking a Java Integration Engineer to design and implement integrations between security products and enterprise applications. You'll work with Java and various DevOps tools to enhance capabilities and automate certificate lifecycles. This role requires experience in integration and scripting.

Who you are

You have a strong background in Java development and integration, with hands-on experience in designing and implementing integrations between security solutions and enterprise IT systems. Your expertise extends to scripting and customizing plugins tailored to client requirements, ensuring seamless integration and functionality. You are proactive in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to integrations, demonstrating a commitment to delivering high-quality solutions. You understand cryptographic concepts and have experience with ITSM services such as ServiceNow, BMC Helix, and Jira, which enhances your ability to contribute effectively to the Professional Services team.

You are familiar with industry best practices in security and integration, applying this knowledge to architect and customize solutions that meet client needs. Your experience with tools like Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform, Salt, and Istio allows you to enhance capabilities and automate processes efficiently. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with internal teams, partners, and customers to deliver new integrations and maintain a repository of built solutions.

Desirable

Experience with cloud platforms and DevOps tools is a plus, as it complements your integration skills. Familiarity with certificate lifecycle automation and identity and access management systems will further enhance your contributions to the team.

What you'll do

As a Java Integration Engineer at DigiCert, you will be responsible for designing and implementing integrations between DigiCert’s security products and various enterprise applications. This includes working with Identity and Access Management (IAM) systems, IT infrastructure systems, cloud platforms, and DevOps tools to enable certificate lifecycle automation. You will act as an internal service provider for the Professional Services team, delivering new integrations through product extensibility and maintaining a repository of these integrations.

Your role will involve troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to the integrations you deliver, ensuring that they function seamlessly within the client’s environment. You will contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by developing reusable assets such as plugins and scripts, which will enhance the efficiency of the Professional Services team.

You will apply a proactive approach to security, leveraging industry best practices to architect and customize ITSM services. Your hands-on experience with tools such as Ansible, Puppet, Chef, Terraform, Salt, and Istio will be crucial in enhancing the capabilities of the integrations you develop. You will also work closely with internal teams to enable them on new integrations, ensuring that they are equipped to support clients effectively.
