Carvana is seeking a Senior Automotive Technician to perform extensive repairs and diagnostics on various vehicle makes and models. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of professional automotive repair experience and offers competitive wages and benefits.

Who you are

You have a minimum of 5 years of professional automotive repair experience, showcasing your expertise in extensive repairs and heavy engine work. Your background includes advanced vehicle diagnostics, allowing you to tackle complex automotive issues with confidence. You are skilled in repairing advanced vehicle electrical systems and have experience with refrigerant and recovery systems, ensuring that you can handle a wide range of automotive challenges. Your knowledge extends to electric and hybrid vehicles, making you a versatile technician in today's evolving automotive landscape.

You are a team player who thrives in a collaborative environment, ready to contribute to Carvana's mission of delivering exceptional customer experiences. Your commitment to quality and attention to detail ensures that every vehicle you work on meets the highest standards. You are adaptable and willing to work mandatory overtime when necessary, demonstrating your dedication to meeting customer needs and deadlines.

Desirable

While not required, any additional certifications such as ASE would be a plus, as would experience with state-of-the-art automotive tools and technologies. Your ability to communicate effectively with team members and customers enhances the overall service experience at Carvana.

What you'll do

As a Senior Automotive Technician at Carvana, you will be responsible for performing extensive repairs and diagnostics on a variety of vehicles. Your day-to-day tasks will include diagnosing complex automotive issues, repairing advanced electrical systems, and ensuring that all repairs are completed to the highest standards. You will work with state-of-the-art tools in one of our high-tech Inspection Centers, allowing you to leverage the latest technology in automotive repair.

You will also be expected to install, repair, and replace vehicle refrigerant and recovery systems, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining the performance and safety of electric and hybrid vehicles, as you will be tasked with diagnosing and repairing these advanced systems.

In addition to technical responsibilities, you will play a key role in mentoring entry-level technicians, sharing your knowledge and experience to help them grow in their careers. You will collaborate closely with other team members to ensure that all vehicles are delivered to customers in excellent condition, contributing to Carvana's reputation as a leader in the automotive retail industry.
