Amazon is hiring a Controls Engineer to support the AWS Control, Deployment and Service Team in Kuala Lumpur. You'll work on data center building automation systems and ensure the health of AWS infrastructure. This role requires experience with AWS and a strong understanding of control systems.

Who you are

You have a background in engineering with a focus on controls and automation systems — your experience includes working with building management systems and ensuring operational efficiency in data centers. You understand the complexities of AWS infrastructure and are passionate about maintaining high standards for safety and security. You thrive in collaborative environments, working alongside software, hardware, and network engineers to solve challenging problems. You are detail-oriented and have a strong analytical mindset, allowing you to navigate the intricacies of supply chain variables effectively. You are committed to delivering the best results for customers and are eager to contribute to a diverse team that values bold ideas and innovation.

Desirable

Experience with electrical power systems and familiarity with data center operations would be advantageous. A background in project management or service delivery in a technical environment is also a plus. You are open to learning new technologies and methodologies that enhance operational performance.

As a Controls Engineer, you will be responsible for delivering and supporting data center building automation systems, ensuring they operate at peak efficiency.
