Your experience includes working with cross-functional teams, including Product, Tech, and Legal, to ensure compliance with evolving tax landscapes. You are detail-oriented and possess strong analytical skills, enabling you to manage complex data reporting requirements effectively. You thrive in collaborative environments and are comfortable communicating with senior leadership and stakeholders across various departments.

Desirable

Experience with tax data reporting frameworks such as EU’s DAC7 and OECD Model Rules is a plus. Familiarity with the digital services industry and its unique tax challenges will help you excel in this role. You are proactive in staying updated on changes in tax regulations and are eager to implement best practices in tax technology.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end analysis and implementation of tax reporting regimes, ensuring that Agoda complies with international tax regulations. You will collaborate with the Tax Data & Technology team to develop and refine processes that streamline tax reporting and enhance data accuracy. Your work will involve analyzing data requirements and leveraging technology to automate reporting processes, thereby improving efficiency and reducing manual errors. You will also engage with various stakeholders to gather insights and feedback, ensuring that the tax reporting systems meet the needs of the organization.

You will play a key role in identifying opportunities for improvement within the tax reporting framework, proposing innovative solutions that align with Agoda's strategic goals. Your ability to interpret complex tax regulations and translate them into actionable insights will be crucial in guiding the company's tax strategy. You will also assist in training and supporting team members on tax technology tools and processes, fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the Tax Team.
