Stripe is hiring a Solutions Architect Manager for their SAAS Platforms team to lead a pre-sales engineering team. You'll collaborate with cross-functional partners and drive account strategies. This role requires strong technical and communication skills.
You have a strong background in solutions architecture and a proven track record of leading teams in a pre-sales environment — your experience includes working closely with C-level executives and understanding their business needs. You possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, allowing you to present complex technical concepts clearly and effectively. Your ability to foster deep relationships with users is complemented by your strong executive presence, making you a trusted advisor in strategic discussions. You have a solid understanding of developing human-centric customer experiences and enterprise systems, which enables you to guide clients in adopting Stripe's solutions effectively.
Experience in the payments industry is preferred, as is familiarity with developer tools and middleware solutions. A bachelor's degree or equivalent military experience is required, and any additional certifications in cloud technologies would be a plus.
In this role, you will lead and mentor a world-class pre-sales engineering team, driving collaboration across various cross-functional teams to influence and unify stakeholders at all levels of the organization. You will be responsible for developing and executing account strategies that align with Stripe's goals, ensuring that your team delivers exceptional value to clients. You will also recruit, hire, and retain top talent, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement within your team. Your role will involve engaging with clients to understand their needs and challenges, providing tailored solutions that leverage Stripe's capabilities.
You will work closely with Account Executives, Professional Services, Customer Success Managers, and Technical Account Managers to ensure a seamless experience for clients. Your ability to translate technical requirements into actionable strategies will be crucial in driving business outcomes. You will also participate in high-level discussions with clients, helping them navigate the complexities of integrating Stripe's solutions into their existing systems.
