What you'll do

As a Senior Backend Engineer at Faire, you will take ownership of the core algorithms and infrastructure that power our ads and search systems. You will work closely with the Ads team to develop intelligent pricing and auction mechanisms that connect the right products with the right buyers. Your role will involve designing and implementing large-scale retrieval and ranking pipelines that enhance the user experience for both brands and retailers.

You will collaborate with the Data Science and Analytics teams to bridge the gap between data insights and engineering solutions. This partnership will allow you to leverage data to inform your engineering decisions and improve the overall effectiveness of our advertising systems. You will also be responsible for ensuring the reliability and scalability of our backend services, implementing best practices in code quality and performance optimization.

In addition to your technical responsibilities, you will participate in code reviews and contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes.
