Who you are

You are a motivated individual with a high school diploma and a keen interest in fitness and wellness. You have completed college-level courses in exercise science or health science, which gives you a foundational understanding of the field. You are reliable, highly organized, and detail-oriented, with solid communication and problem-solving skills. You can speak, read, write, and understand English fluently, which is essential for collaborating with team members and participating in training programs.

What you'll do

As a Fitness & Wellness Intern at Minitab, you will shadow the Global Fitness & Wellness Manager to learn about the various job duties and the scope of a global wellness program. You will assist with research on various well-being topics and help with marketing efforts to expand awareness of the company's wellness initiatives. Under the direction of the Fitness & Wellness Manager, you will also assist in the gym, gaining practical experience in a corporate fitness environment. Additionally, you will attend webinars and training programs, providing reviews and recommendations based on what you learn. Your role will involve preparing, marketing, and presenting worksite wellness programs to employees, contributing to a healthier workplace culture.
