What you'll do

As the Capital Markets Structuring Lead, you will work directly with the deal team to architect solutions that optimize loan funding capital for Upstart's AI lending marketplace. You will collaborate with the Institutional Capital and Structured Products teams to ensure that commercial goals are effectively translated into precise deal logic. Your role will involve analyzing various asset classes and deal types to create functional financial structures that align with Upstart's mission of expanding access to affordable credit.

You will be responsible for leading discussions with institutional investors, presenting innovative financing solutions that meet their needs while also supporting Upstart's growth objectives. Your ability to communicate complex financial concepts clearly will be essential in fostering strong relationships with partners and stakeholders.

In addition to your technical responsibilities, you will play a key role in mentoring junior team members, sharing your knowledge and expertise to help them grow in their careers.
