You have a strong background in motion design with at least 5 years of experience creating engaging animations that enhance product experiences. Your expertise in tools like After Effects and Rive allows you to bring creative visions to life through dynamic, interactive content. You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with product designers and engineers to ensure seamless integration of animations into products. You possess a keen eye for detail and a passion for storytelling through motion, understanding how to translate complex ideas into visually compelling narratives. You are adaptable and open to feedback, continuously seeking to improve your craft and the impact of your work. You are excited about the opportunity to contribute to a brand that motivates people to lead active lives and are eager to help define the emerging design language at Strava.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be responsible for building interactive animations that create a personalized brand experience for Strava users. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to test and champion new feature developments in Rive, ensuring that complex data and brand stories are effectively communicated through motion. You will own the technical setup and optimization of animation files, bridging the gap between design and engineering to facilitate a smooth handover process. Your contributions will help establish scalable motion systems and templates that will define the future of Strava's design language. You will also participate in brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas for enhancing user engagement through motion design. As a vital member of the creative department, you will play a key role in shaping the visual identity of Strava's products and ensuring that they resonate with our community of athletes.
