Airship is seeking a Senior Commercial Counsel to lead customer negotiations across EMEA, UK, and APAC regions. This role requires expertise in AI governance, data privacy, and SaaS transactions.

Who you are

You are a seasoned commercial negotiator with a strong background in legal counsel, particularly in the technology sector. With at least 5 years of experience, you thrive in high-autonomy roles and have a deep understanding of AI governance and data privacy laws. You are adept at managing complex negotiations with enterprise clients and partners, ensuring that all agreements align with local regulations and company policies. Your communication skills are exceptional, allowing you to articulate legal concepts clearly to non-legal stakeholders. You are committed to fairness and compliance, always striving to uphold the principles of local Fair Chance laws.

What you'll do

In this role, you will be the primary legal partner for Airship's customer negotiations across the EMEA, UK, and APAC regions. You will work closely with sophisticated enterprise clients, navigating high-value and complex deals that require a nuanced understanding of SaaS transactions. Your responsibilities will include drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, ensuring that all agreements protect the company's interests while fostering strong relationships with clients.
