Overview

Carvana is seeking a Master Automotive Paint Technician to join their team in Akron, NY. You'll be responsible for professional automotive painting, including blending and paint correcting vehicles. This role requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in automotive painting.

Who you are

You have a minimum of 5 years of professional automotive painting experience, demonstrating a high level of skill in various painting techniques including base coats, tri-coats, solid, metallic, and clear coats. Your expertise extends to blending adjacent panels and correcting paint on vehicles, ensuring a flawless finish that meets Carvana's high standards. You are a team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and is willing to work mandatory overtime based on business needs. You possess a valid driver’s license and can communicate effectively in English.

Desirable

Experience with state-of-the-art painting tools and techniques is a plus, as is a commitment to continuous learning and improvement in your craft. You are open to participating in training programs offered by Carvana to enhance your skills and advance your career.

What you'll do

As a Master Automotive Paint Technician at Carvana, you will be responsible for executing high-quality automotive painting tasks in a fast-paced environment. You will work with a variety of vehicles, applying your painting skills to ensure each vehicle meets the company's quality standards. Your role will involve preparing surfaces for painting, applying paint, and performing touch-ups as necessary. You will also be expected to maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to safety protocols and best practices in automotive painting.
