Trellis is hiring a Senior Data Scientist to drive exploratory analysis and model development for their Real-Time Bidding and pricing systems. You'll work with machine learning and data analysis to inform business decisions. This position requires experience in statistical modeling and programming skills in Python and SQL.
You have 5+ years of experience in data science, with a strong background in machine learning and statistical modeling. You are skilled in Python and SQL, and you understand how to work with data-scarce environments to derive meaningful insights. Your analytical mindset allows you to tackle complex problems and turn ambiguous data into actionable strategies. You thrive in collaborative settings, working closely with ML engineers and software engineers to develop scalable solutions. You are passionate about using data to drive business decisions and improve processes.
Experience with real-time bidding systems or pricing models is a plus. Familiarity with data visualization tools and techniques will help you communicate your findings effectively. You are comfortable with exploratory data analysis and can design studies that yield valuable insights. A background in fintech or insurance is beneficial but not required.
