Samsara is hiring a Sales Engineer II - Specialist to drive the adoption of their Connected Operations™ Cloud platform. You'll work closely with Regional Sales Managers to provide technical pre-sales support. This role requires a strong understanding of IoT technologies and customer engagement.
You have a solid background in technical sales or engineering, ideally with experience in IoT or related technologies. You understand the importance of customer engagement and can effectively communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. Your ability to work collaboratively with sales teams and customers is key to your success in this role. You are comfortable with cloud software and sensor systems, and you have a passion for helping organizations improve their operations through technology. You thrive in a fast-paced environment and are eager to contribute to the growth of a pioneering company in the IoT space.
Experience with hardware devices and environmental sensors is a plus. Familiarity with APIs and cloud platforms will enhance your ability to support customers effectively. A background in industries such as agriculture, construction, or transportation can provide valuable context for your interactions with clients.
As a Sales Engineer II - Specialist at Samsara, you will be responsible for owning the technical pre-sales process for our largest accounts.
