Astranis is hiring an Antenna Intern for Summer 2026 to assist in designing and testing antenna systems for satellites. You'll work closely with engineers and utilize advanced design tools. This internship is ideal for students currently enrolled in a four-year university.
You are a current student enrolled in a four-year university, eager to gain hands-on experience in the field of satellite communications. You have a foundational understanding of mechanical and electrical engineering principles, and you are excited to apply your knowledge in a practical setting. You possess strong problem-solving skills and are comfortable working with design tools to create high-performance antenna systems. You are a team player who enjoys collaborating with engineers from various disciplines to achieve common goals. You are detail-oriented and committed to validating the performance of components through rigorous testing. You are open to learning and adapting to new challenges in a fast-paced environment.
Experience with AutoCAD or MATLAB is a plus, as these tools will be utilized in your projects. Familiarity with RF components and testing methodologies will help you excel in this role. A passion for space technology and satellite communications will enhance your contributions to the team.
As an Antenna Intern at Astranis, you will work closely with mechanical, thermal, and payload system engineers to design, build, and test antenna systems for both ongoing and next-generation satellite payloads.
