Overview

Careem is seeking a Sales Intern to assist in generating merchant leads and developing client relationships. This role offers the opportunity to learn and grow within a dynamic team in Amman.

Job Description

Who you are

You are a motivated individual eager to kickstart your career in sales. You thrive on the excitement of closing deals and possess strong negotiation skills. You are responsible and accountable, ready to take on tasks that drive impact in the region while you learn and grow. You are passionate about building relationships and understand the importance of client retention in a competitive market.

What you'll do

In this role, you will work closely with your assigned team lead to complete all allocated tasks efficiently. You will research and generate lists of potential merchant leads, ensuring that you identify the best opportunities for Careem. Meeting clients, particularly restaurants, will be a key part of your responsibilities as you discuss commercials and work towards closing deals. You will also update documents and sales records to maintain accurate information on client interactions. Assisting managers with negotiations will be crucial, as you help develop client relationships and retain existing accounts.
