Google is seeking a Technical Program Manager II for Software Release Management to lead complex projects in the Pixel team. You'll manage software release programs and collaborate with cross-functional teams. This role requires a technical background and experience in program management.
You have a Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent practical experience, along with at least 2 years of experience in program management. You are skilled in managing end-to-end execution of software release programs and have experience with software releases, feature testing, regression testing, or bug triage. Your background includes managing cross-functional or cross-team projects, ideally in the consumer electronics industry. You possess strong communication skills, allowing you to explain analyses and recommendations to executives while discussing technical tradeoffs with engineers. You are passionate about building products that create opportunities for everyone.
As a Technical Program Manager at Google, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish. You will work closely with stakeholders to plan requirements, identify risks, manage project schedules, and communicate effectively with cross-functional partners across the company. You will define the scope of projects and develop, execute, and manage project plans for supported programs. Your role will involve reviewing key metrics pertaining to a program, monitoring potential deviations, and defining corrective actions for critical deviations. You will identify, communicate, and collaborate with relevant stakeholders within one or more teams to drive impact and work toward mutual goals.
