You have 5+ years of industry experience in software engineering, with a deep technical understanding of software development and lifecycle management. Your hands-on experience with low-level OS systems, such as kernel, Darwin, or drivers, sets you apart as a candidate. You possess a strong background in power and performance measurement and investigation, allowing you to tackle complex challenges effectively.
You thrive in collaborative environments, working closely with hardware and software teams to solve intricate problems. Your passion for the intersection of hardware and software drives your creativity and innovation in developing new technologies. You are adept at diagnosing and resolving significant power issues, ensuring optimal performance in all aspects of your work.
Your experience includes architecting core OS features and implementing critical system-level functionality. You have a proven track record of leading transitions to advanced architectures, such as 64-bit OS systems, and are skilled in managing process lifecycles and memory reclamation. You are comfortable diving into code from other teams to enhance overall system performance and efficiency.
Experience with performance analysis tools and methodologies is a plus, as is familiarity with prototyping new technologies that define future hardware and software features. You are open to learning and adapting to new challenges, and you enjoy the investigative aspect of engineering.
