Overview

Caseware is seeking a Senior Human Resource Business Partner to support their Engineering, Product, Technology, and Information Security teams. This role requires strong business judgment and hands-on execution to enable high-performing technical teams. Experience in HR leadership is essential.

Job Description

Who you are

You are a seasoned HR leader with a strong background in supporting technical teams — your experience spans over 5 years in human resources, particularly within technology-driven environments. You possess a pragmatic approach to HR, combining business acumen with hands-on execution. You thrive in complex and ambiguous situations, navigating change with ease while fostering engagement and performance within teams.

Your ability to partner closely with senior technology leaders, including CTOs and CPOs, sets you apart — you understand the unique challenges faced by engineering and product teams and are adept at providing tailored HR solutions. You are comfortable working in a hybrid environment, balancing in-office presence with remote collaboration.

Desirable

Experience in a fintech or technology company is a plus — you understand the nuances of the industry and can effectively communicate with technical professionals. A background in organizational development or talent management would enhance your ability to drive strategic HR initiatives.

What you'll do

In this role, you will support the Engineering, Product, Technology, and Information Security organizations at Caseware — your primary focus will be on enabling high-performing teams through effective HR strategies. You will collaborate with senior leaders to identify talent needs, develop workforce plans, and implement initiatives that promote engagement and retention.

You will play a critical role in shaping the culture of the organization — your insights will help drive employee engagement surveys, performance management processes, and talent development programs. You will also be responsible for advising on organizational design and change management initiatives, ensuring alignment with business objectives.

As a Senior HR Business Partner, you will lead efforts to enhance the employee experience — you will work closely with teams to identify areas for improvement and implement solutions that foster a positive work environment. Your role will involve coaching and mentoring managers on best practices in people management, performance feedback, and employee relations.

You will also be involved in developing and delivering training programs that support the growth and development of employees — your expertise will help create a culture of continuous learning and improvement. You will ensure that HR policies and practices are aligned with the company's values and support the overall business strategy.
