Who you are

You are at least eighteen years of age and possess a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. You have basic computer skills and are comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions. You understand the importance of safety and demonstrate courteous and defensive driving principles while operating vehicles. You are reliable and can follow instructions from supervisors effectively.

Desirable

Experience in a similar driving role is a plus, but not required. Familiarity with vehicle maintenance tasks such as inflating tires and jump-starting vehicles would be beneficial. A customer-oriented mindset is appreciated, as you will assist customers, dealers, and co-workers as needed.

What you'll do

As a Transport Driver, you will operate motor vehicles on and off the premises to support auction activities. Your primary responsibilities include safely moving, staging, and parking vehicles in designated areas to facilitate the flow of vehicles for the car auction. You will drive assigned vehicles through auction lanes on sale days and verify the VIN of cars being picked up or delivered against transportation requests. You will also line up and park vehicles in the correct order as directed by the Lot Manager or designated supervisor. If necessary, you will perform basic maintenance tasks such as inflating tires, jump-starting vehicles, and filling gas tanks when needed. You will conduct walk-arounds of each vehicle prior to moving them and note any damage.
